Our School Spirit
“It was and AMAZING experience”says Heidy Mendez. The Hialeah Senior High School Health Fair of course, everyone’s been talking about it. The Art Club participated in a huge part with our wonderful and unique artworks. The Health Corps needed our help to decorate their different kinds of booths and posters. Art, for some people, is a huge way to let out their feelings. In the Health Fair there was one booth that helped in this way by creating a comfortable environment for the incoming students to be able to draw how they felt in the moment of their arriving. Drawing and painting are two very good ways of being mentally healthy. Why? Because it lets you take your anger out on paper and pencil than with an actual person. You, the students, should pass by the Art Room one day. The student’s artworks are beautiful and extremely moving. Remember boys and girls A PICTURE TELLS A THOUSAND WORDS. Many students had comments about this Health Fair. For example, Cindy Rodriguez, a student who went to the Health Fair said, “Those are beautiful works of art! One stroke of a pencil tells a sentence, but the complete artwork tells a story.”
